WHO IS

JABARI

MACK?

Jabari Mack was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Not quite a middle child, being the 4th of 8 siblings has developed him into a natural leader.

At the age of 5, Jabari developed his love for the game football on the Pop Warner fields while playing all over the city. The time he spent practicing and learning the game as a youth, worked to his advantage when it was time to hit the high school field.

He enrolled at First Coast High School in  2017. He tried out and made the football team his Freshman year. As a junior varsity player, he worked hard and grew into a dynamic corner back. He outshined and shut down the competition play after play. His coaches really began to take notice.

His height, speed, hands, and agility prompted them to give him a run at wide receiver his freshman year. This made him the first player to start on both sides of the field at First Coast High. The coaches would not be disappointed by their decision. He really shined as a wide receiver his senior year, as a wide receiver, with a total of 22 receptions for 715 receiving yards, and 5 touchdowns in only 6 games.

Off the field, Jabari enjoys other activities, such as Basketball, Dancing and Drawing. Looking towards the future, he is excited and hungry to play at the next level in college. Because he understands, respects the game and wants to start his college career in the best shape possible, he chose to attend Fork Union Military Academy's post-graduate program after high school. He believes this will prepare him mentally and physically for a career in the game he has loved since childhood.
